Traveler note
Visit the current excavation by the former main gate and Wakiyagura corner tower. The official map places the meeting area inside the excavation compound northwest of the tower; follow the marked approach around the fence rather than entering directly from the road. This is the Otemon excavation site, not the hilltop castle-keep area or the cultural-properties office. No visitor parking is provided; use public transport. The city’s two linked maps show the actual meeting area. The announcement does not establish English interpretation or step-free access.
