HOW THE TRIP BOARD WORKS

Build a dated trip from checked records

The choices below shape one source-linked brief. They do not check live availability or fill gaps with guesses.

  1. Choose what matters

Select travel dates, up to eight destinations, a value or ease priority, and optional no-car or first-visit context.

  2. Dates filter official events

An event appears only when its verified date range overlaps your stay. Dates do not imply that tickets, seats or venues are available now.

  3. Destinations shape the pass check

Selected places identify checked route segments. The board compares individual tickets with passes only when fare, coverage and eligibility records are complete enough.

  4. Facts keep their sources

Official links and checked dates stay beside the event, route and pass facts. Missing or stale details remain visible as unknowns.

  5. Copy or share the brief

Copy the result as Markdown or plain text, download it, or copy a share link that restores the same selections in another browser.

EXAMPLE ONLY — NOT YOUR TRIP

What one completed state can contain

This sample is assembled from the same checked records as the tool. Make your own selections below to replace it.

Selected dates
11 September 2026–30 September 2026
Selected destinations
Central Sendai and Matsushima
Event match
The Homecoming of BLUE GIANT in SENDAI appears because its verified event dates overlap the example dates.
Transport check
Central Sendai–Matsushima adds a checked route segment. Individual tickets remain in the comparison alongside Sendai Marugoto Pass; the board calculates the result instead of assuming a pass wins.
Brief and sharing
The generated brief can be copied as Markdown or plain text, downloaded, or shared with a link that restores these selections.

The Homecoming of BLUE GIANT in SENDAI

  • E BeanS, 3F event space
  • Free admission

E BeanS is a two-minute walk from JR Sendai Station's west exit and connects directly to subway Sendai Station's South 2 exit. The free exhibition closes on 30 September, with last entry at 19:30. Its separate six-stop stamp rally continues through 31 October; each stop has its own hours. The organiser's 10 September notices restrict selected collaboration alcohol sales at the 3F venue to specified dates and limit each Signature Edition and Navy Edition reproduction artwork to one per person. Check those notices before travelling for merchandise; they do not change the exhibition's daily opening hours. Crowd-related entry restrictions may apply.

Sendai Oktoberfest

  • Nishikicho Park
  • BLUE TENT admission ¥500, including same-day re-entry wristband; GREEN TENT area free. Food and drinks extra; applicable drinks require a refundable ¥1,000 cash deposit

The dated 2026 announcement confirms 11-27 September at Nishikicho Park, about four minutes on foot from Kotodai-koen Station. BLUE TENT admission costs ¥500 with same-day re-entry; up to two children of junior-high-school age or younger may accompany the paying visitor under the organiser's admission rule. Last admission is 20:15 and most stalls take last orders at 20:40. Bring cash for the refundable drink deposit. The current 2026 stage programme is available at the linked official timetable. Severe weather can affect operation, so check the official notices before leaving.

Sendai Classical Festival 2026

  • Hitachi Systems Hall Sendai, Sendai Bank Hall Izumity21 and Taihaku Ward Cultural Center
  • Reservation required
  • Advance paid concerts: 45 min ¥1,500 adult / ¥800 U-18; 60 min ¥2,000-¥2,500 adult / ¥1,100-¥1,500 U-18; adult same-day tickets +¥200

The 20th festival presents 77 reserved-seat concerts across eight halls in three facilities. Admission-age rules vary by performance: 0 and older, 3 and older, or primary-school age and older; U-18 applies from age 3 through 18, and children age 3 and older need a ticket. Buy through the official channels and check the live programme for the latest remaining-seat status before purchase; same-day tickets are offered only when seats remain.

Michinoku YOSAKOI Festival

  • Seven venues across Sendai
  • Paid viewing seats - 10 October (each block: 10:00-13:48, 14:00-16:48 and 17:00-20:30): A stand seat ¥1,500 / B arena seat ¥1,000; 11 October: 09:30-11:18 A stand ¥1,000 / B arena ¥500, 11:30-14:18 (Prime) and 14:30-17:24 (Junior/Revival) A stand ¥2,500 / B arena ¥1,500, 17:42-20:30 (Finals) A stand ¥5,000 / B arena ¥3,000. Jozenji-dori Parade one-day pass (11 October only): ¥1,000.

The official outline lists six stage venues and one parade venue across Sendai. Paid-seat advance sales run from 20 August through 7 October 2026 at 23:59 (P-code 661-877). Before entry, exchange an advance ticket at the merchandise tent for the colour-coded wristband for its time block and seat type. Seats are unreserved and entry is first-come, first-served; the printed number is only an organiser reference, not an entry order. Re-entry is allowed, and holders of consecutive wristbands may remain in the same seat between blocks; unattended belongings may be held at changeover. Exact team-by-team performance times were not confirmed from a 2026 detailed schedule at this check, so use the latest official schedule before visiting.

    USEFUL FOR THIS TRIP

    Short decision pages

Only a small set of maintainable, source-aware guides.

Verified guide Naruko Gorge, central Akiu or Yamadera for autumn leaves? Yamadera has the cleanest car-free chain and the hardest walk. Central Akiu is the easiest day to shorten, but the bus details decide whether it works. Naruko Gorge has the strongest scenery case and the weakest last mile. Current colour is not knowable in advance for any of them, so choose on transport and walking fit unless a dated first-party report already covers your date. Official source: Osaki City, Naruko Gorge destination page · Checked on 27 August 2026 Verified guide Four day trips from Sendai, and how to choose Matsushima is the easy one and works as a same-morning decision. Yamadera is a climb and gives nothing to anyone who does not do it. Akiu is a bath, not a view. Zao is two different trips depending on the month and needs planning. Official source: JR East fare revision, 14 March 2026 · Checked on 2 August 2026 Verified guide Getting around Sendai Most visitors do not need a transport pass in Sendai. The arcades are free and cover the centre; the Loople day pass covers the hilltop sights; the subway is two lines crossing once. Buy the Marugoto Pass only if you are leaving the city. Official source: Transportation Bureau, City of Sendai · Checked on 18 August 2026 Verified guide Sendai Airport train fares and journey times Count each airport train ride as one leg. The paper-ticket and IC fares differ, and the typical ride is about 25 to 27 minutes depending on direction; use the official timetable for the particular departure that follows your flight. WHY TRUST THIS

    Sources, freshness, and honest gaps

The board distinguishes official schedules from manually checked information and stale records. It never treats a static build as live availability.
