Traveler note
A two-day market with local produce, food, crafts and experience booths in the botanical garden. Sunday closes one hour earlier than Saturday. This is a separate venue from the ongoing AKIU OH!TAKI Market at Otaki Rest House, and from the Akiu Halloween markets at the winery and brewery. Autumn traffic can be heavy; the official flyer publishes a suggested road detour. Check weather notices and current stall details before travelling; gifts and individual activities are not guaranteed.
