Traveler note
A one-day Akiu harvest gathering with local vegetables, regional foods and the new-season Akiu rice harvest. Rice tasting is planned at 11:00 and 13:30, limited to the first 100 people each time and subject to supplies. Participating purchases can provide prize-draw tickets under the organiser's conditions; admission alone does not promise a ticket or prize. Parking is limited and the organiser recommends public transport; follow staff directions if overflow parking is used. The programme may change or be cancelled. This Akiu event on 8 November is separate from the Agriculture and Horticulture Center's 14-15 November harvest festival.
