Traveler note
The official outline revised on 9 October lists seven stage venues and one parade venue across Sendai. The AEON Mall Sendai Kamisugi satellite stage operates on 10 October only; the Jozenji-dori parade is on 11 October only. Paid-seat advance sales ended on 7 October 2026 at 23:59 JST (P-code 661-877). On-day paid-seat tickets are sold at the Kotodai Park merchandise tent from 09:00 on 10 October and 08:30 on 11 October until merchandise sales end. The Jozenji-dori paid-seat tent opens sales at 10:15 on 11 October until the parade ends. Check the official viewing guide for current availability; the advance-sales deadline does not mean the whole festival is sold out. Before entry, exchange an advance ticket at the merchandise tent for the colour-coded wristband for its time block and seat type. Seats are unreserved and entry is first-come, first-served; the printed number is only an organiser reference, not an entry order. Re-entry is allowed, and holders of consecutive wristbands may remain in the same seat between blocks; unattended belongings may be held at changeover. The organiser published the 2026 performance schedule on 22 September, with separate 10 and 11 October timetables and a full PDF. Use that official schedule to choose your teams and venues, and recheck it before visiting for changes. The 3 October official notice says guidebooks are provided for a donation of at least ¥300 at venue headquarters (merchandise tents at Kotodai and Aobayama). On Jozenji-dori, guidebooks are available at team reception and the paid-seat ticket counter. The updated notice limits Aeon and Daterium distribution to guidebooks; badges and stickers are not listed there. This is a separate donation benefit, not the paid-seat admission price.
