Traveler note
Traditional drum and dance groups from Sendai’s coastal communities perform alongside a visiting group from Fudai, Iwate. The programme includes Nakano small drums, Arahama lion dance, Nakano-style Unotori Nanazumai and Kuroshio taiko. Go directly to Aquaignis Sendai, not the organising memorial centre. The flyer says the event runs in rain, with possible programme changes; severe weather may lead to cancellation. Check the organiser’s updates before travelling.
