Traveler note

The 83rd city cultural-properties exhibition explores local archaeology through patterns, colour, shape and spatial design, including recently excavated objects. The display runs throughout the announced period, but special programmes do not: stone painting is 31 October only and Jomon scratch-card making is 1 November only. Talks are 31 October, 14:00-15:00, and 1 November, 13:00-14:30; the Date Bushotai programme is 31 October, 11:00-13:00. Check the organiser programme for each activity rather than assuming all activities run every day.
